Our client, Milestone AV Technologies, formally used Sage MAS 500 for ERP and 3rd party MRP software from e2b teknologies which integrated with Sage MAS 500. From the beginning, the MRP software performance was a problem and required nightly processing of 4 hours on a high-performance server. After implementation of additional MRP software features, processing jumped to more 8 hours and then to 20+ hours--this was completely unacceptable.

We were requested investigate what it would take to write custom MRP software for Sage MAS 500. In just a few weeks, we had developed custom MRP software for Sage MAS 500 with more features than previously implemented which took less than 15 minutes to process.

This client went from using day-old MRP information to near real-time MRP information with more features. Over time we were able to steadily add more features and reporting without negatively affecting performance.
